Tatsächlich gibt es in der Slowakei nämlich eine #Breitspur-Strecke. Sie führt von Haniska pri Košiciach nahe Košice auf 1520mm in die Ukraine. Dabei verläuft sie zu einem großen Teil entlang der Normalspurstrecke, mündet aber schließlich nicht in #Chop sondern in #Uzhgorod ins Netz der UZ.
Wir hatten damals keine Ahnung, ob auf der Strecke was fährt, geschweige denn wann. Aber Fotos in Bildergalerien von großen Škoda-Breitspurdoppelloks motivierten uns für die Tour ins Ungewisse. (2/7)
