This Is My GlasgowYou see this symbol carved onto many older Glasgow buildings, but it's particularly common on former bank and financial buildings, like this one above the door of 2 Clarendon Place at Saint George's Cross. It's called a Cornucopia or Horn of Plenty, and it dates back to ancient Greece some 3,000 years ago. It's used to indicate never-ending prosperity.
