In Norse mythology, the Robin was associated with the god Thor and Einriði is another name for Thor in one of the Sagas, composed around the 10th Century. Julien MoreauSince mid-December we have been planting <a href="https://scholar.social/tags/trees" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#trees</a> from our island on our <a href="https://scholar.social/tags/croft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#croft</a>. This is the 900th tree of different native origins to the Isle of Lewis (Alder, 2 willows, oaks, hazels, hawthorn, blackthorn, rowan and aspen). They were distributed according to the quality of the soil and their liking of other species. We also made a stream to drain the excess water and a couple of ponds. All that to create a 0.3 ha <a href="https://scholar.social/tags/microforest" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#microforest</a> following the advice and support from the Woodland Trust.

Thanks for the idea 😀 We just got our vegbox delivered today. Ours comes from an <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/organic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#organic</a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/crofter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#crofter</a> who crofts about 2 miles away from our house. One of the great things about his <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/croft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#croft</a> is that he puts lots of effort on protecting/improving his <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/soil" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#soil</a>.
