Max Kaltenmark
Günter Wohlfart nennt ihn einerseits Weg ohne Weg.

If you follow me you know I play a lot of Dragon Age Origins. I'm always on my final, final campaign, definitely the last one While I have now started BG3, and am thoroughly enjoying it, it's reserved for the daylight hours, so I am still sneaking in an hour or two of DAO on those evenings when I have enough spoons available and still enjoying it thoroughly. So, I thought I'd start a wee thread on the mods I am personally using with DAO in case anyone was interested, only the thread became so long I decided to create a blog post on my website instead
The ancient Masters were profound and subtle.
Their wisdom was unfathomable.
There is no way to describe it;
all we can describe is their appearance.
They were careful
as someone crossing an iced-over stream.
Alert as a warrior in enemy territory.
Courteous as a guest.
Fluid as melting ice.
Shapable as a block of wood.
Receptive as a valley.
Clear as a glass of water.
Do you have the patience to wait
till your mud settles and the water is clear?
Great straightness seems twisted. Great intelligence seems stupid. Great eloquence seems awkward.
— Gia-Fu Feng, #daodejing, Verse 45
Can you coax your mind from its wandering
and keep to the original oneness?
Can you let your body become
supple as a newborn child's?
Can you cleanse your inner vision
until you see nothing but the light?
Can you love people and lead them
without imposing your will?
Can you deal with the most vital matters
by letting events take their course?
Can you step back from your own mind
and thus understand all things?

Some Portuguese regions like Dão could use some more places to stay. Interestingly, the Amorims and their Taboadella have now been awarded the Relais & Châteaux label. Taste, hang out. Looks nice.
Nothing in the world
is as soft and yielding as water.
Yet for dissolving the hard and inflexible,
nothing can surpass it.
The soft overcomes the hard;
the gentle overcomes the rigid.
Everyone knows this is true,
but few can put it into practice.
Therefore the Master remains
serene in the midst of sorrow.
Evil cannot enter his heart.
Because he has given up helping,
he is people's greatest help.
The best athlete
wants his opponent at his best.
The best general
enters the mind of his enemy.
The best businessman
serves the communal good.
The best leader
follows the will of the people.
All of them embody
the virtue of non-competition.
Not that they don't love to compete,
but they do it in the spirit of play.
In this they are like children
What is rooted is easy to nourish.
What is recent is easy to correct.
What is brittle is easy to break.
What is small is easy to scatter.
Prevent trouble before it arises.
Put things in order before they exist.
The giant pine tree
grows from a tiny sprout.
The journey of a thousand miles
starts from beneath your feet.
Rushing into action, you fail.
Trying to grasp things, you lose them.
Forcing a project to completion,
you ruin what was almost ripe.
In cubic space, a star is born
And from it's sides, the force is torn
To melt inside, into a sun
To glow forever and have fun ;-)
Had an idea today and it worked right away. 4 million Tooll3 (https://tooll.io) particles with a bit of feedback for smoother motion.
May this warm your heart.
Cheers,

The Master gives himself up
to whatever the moment brings.
He knows that he is going to die,
and he has nothing left to hold on to:
no illusions in his mind,
no resistances in his body.
He doesn't think about his actions;
they flow from the core of his being.
He holds nothing back from life;
therefore he is ready for death,
as a man is ready for sleep
