Is there a way to add full disk encryption? And if that way exists, is it easier / quicker than just reinstalling the damn thing from scratch?EDIT: Qualified guidance received. Will reinstall. Thanks everyone!(For those who haven't done this before: Installing Debian is a breeze. 15min to first login usually, and then maybe another hour configuring stuff, if that much.)

But I get playback issues in Kodi with random square blobs on the screen every 15 or so minutes. And I have to force <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/kodi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#kodi</a> into x11 mode anyway to stop the issue of <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/kodi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#kodi</a> briefly showing the desktop between video playback.If I use <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/x11" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#x11</a>, then I lose fractional scaling for <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/gtk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#gtk</a> apps so must run at 200% on my 27" 4K monitor, so now I have to reduce fonts in <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/kde" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#kde</a> to make things look sensible. But I get an issue in <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/thunderbird" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#thunderbird</a> which causes the application window to be empty, and I have to force close the app as it does not recover.
