OK #BlackMastodon, #MuseumTech, #DigitalHumanities and #BlackHistory enthusiasts - I've got a special ask!

I'm doing some research on ways of communicating trans-Atlantic histories of the African diaspora and would dearly love more feedback and thoughts.

Basically you'll be asked to compare two layouts for content from museum and archive collections -

If you're up for it, please start here: forms.gle/AUGUvyne6pyVLkS2A

And of course do share :)

Google DocsExploring black history through online contentThank you for giving your time to participate in this session. Museum X is a museum and archives collective exploring ways of sharing Black history. We are conducting research into different ways of showcasing stories from GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) collections. You will be shown two versions of an online experience that explores black history. For each version, you don't have to read everything, although there will be prompts encouraging you to explore the content. However, you only need to read as much as you are interested in. After each version, you will be asked to fill in a short survey to tell us what you think. Once you have seen both versions and submitted your feedback for both of them, you will then be asked additional questions to compare your experiences. If you have arrived here through SurveyCircle, you will receive points for your participation, which can be used to recruit free survey participants at SurveyCircle.com. However, points can only be given after visiting both versions and completing the final survey. The session will at most take about 15 minutes. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us design@themuseumx.com, or through our website.
