You know how fruits sometimes look like a slice of sunshine? Well, this is what happens when the slice of sunshine really is made of sunshine! Starlight, to be precise. My nebular vision, "A slice of summer in space".
I wonder how they sound under alien skies...my own thought, "Wind chime on Saturn".
Okay, I'll admit it: it was but a quick sketch-up. That's why you can see the brushstrokes so plainly. But it does have a nice quality to it, doesn't it? My own little piece, "Dark City".

I did this for a community study of birds, as I've been wanting to do something about 'magpie colours' for years, ever since I caught a glimpse of one taking off in the sunlight. It got a bit experimental towards the end, but I'm pleased with it.

Skydiving under the light of the silvery moon from an airplane is cool enough...but what about from one of those "future-copters", as some have called them...under the light of *two* moons? My own take on a scene that may well be our future: "A moonslit airdrop".
