Kuwohi ⛰️ Great Smoky Mts National Park, NC

My favorite place in the world, Kuwohi, or Clingmans Dome, reaches over 6.5Kft and sits in the state line between NC and TN. It is the highest point of both the Appalachian trail and Cherokee land, and its massiveness is apparent. The erosion of the range over millions of years makes the mountains deceivingly appear like steep hills dipping into the skyline.
