Chum and I spent hours exploring the ECA's annual degree show, quite a nice way to spend a Sunday. As usual some stuff that made you think, er, what is this? Other items that were clever and beautiful.

Loved these origami cranes above the stairs, fluttering in the breeze from the door, as if trying to take flights.

This clown has driven over a pavement, around the corner to park on the canal towpath outside Boroughmuir High School, obviously an area which is *not* open to motorised traffic at all, yet this utter shagwit has driven quite far into it.

Seriously, wtf is wrong with so many drivers that he thought yeah, this is fine?? Supposedly traffic free safe area for walkers, cyclists etc.

West End of Edinburgh's New Town this afternoon

We were going to order food in the bar, but rather unusually for a city centre place, it had almost nothing for vegetarians.

So we ambled to a nearby small Mexican place, Nacho Libre, and had delicious veggie chimiguangas and margaritas. Mmmm.

Plans to meet chum in Teuchters changed as it was packed, now in Whigham's Wine Cellar, which was quieter, but rapidly filling with middle aged people in sparkly outfits, probably going to Robbie Williams gig at Murrayfield later.
