When did sentient life become a product?
A cow into leather. A hen into an egg machine.

In a world where even the sacred is stripped for profit,
Life, love, freedom, and dignity are shrink-wrapped and sold unless someone resists.

You can’t save everything.
But you can stop participating.

Let your life be a quiet refusal
Not to the world, but to the lie that this is normal.

🍳 🥓 Eggs are off the hook—study reveals bacon’s the real heart risk 🫀

"In a world-first study, researchers examined the independent effects of dietary cholesterol and saturated fat on LDL cholesterol (the 'bad' kind), finding that eating two eggs a day - as part of a high cholesterol but low saturated fat diet - can actually reduce LDL levels and lower the risk of heart disease.
So, when it comes to a cooked breakfast, it's not the eggs you need to worry about - it's the extra serve of bacon or the side of sausage that's more likely to impact your heart health."

ScienceDailyEggs are off the hook—study reveals bacon’s the real heart riskEggs are finally being vindicated after decades of cholesterol-related blame. New research from the University of South Australia reveals that eggs, despite their cholesterol content, aren't the dietary villains they've long been made out to be. Instead, it's the saturated fats found in foods like bacon and sausage that actually elevate harmful LDL cholesterol levels. In a world-first study, researchers showed that eating two eggs a day, as part of a low saturated fat diet, can even help reduce LDL cholesterol, challenging outdated guidelines and offering heart-healthy news for breakfast lovers everywhere.

A dietary study of over 1,000 80-year olds, followed for 7 years, found that higher egg consumption was associated with lower incidence of Alzheimer's disease. Those who ate eggs at least once per week had approximately half the risk of those who ate eggs less than once per month. The choline in eggs is suggested to be a possible reason for this association.

Starting 1st July 2025! 🙌 #Switzerland is implementing mandatory labelling on animal-based food products, including #meat, #milk, and #eggs, to disclose if animals experienced painful procedures without anaesthesia.

This includes practices like #castration #dehorning, #TailDocking, and #TeethClipping.

We applaud this introduction, as #consumers have a right to more transparency about the cruel processes to make more informed and #ethical choices.
