I'm testing a freshly assembled #PiStorm on a real Amiga 500.

I have no prior experience with the PiStorm, so I followed the README to install the system image onto a RaspberryPi 3, compile the emulator from git head and... run it!

The #Amiga started right away and loaded my SysInfo disk image. However, there are text rendering glitches, and the m68k emulator runs even slower than the original hardware running at 7 MHz 😕

Version 6.0.0 of the Amiga emulator WinUAE has been released. As the developer wrote, this release is a "major update to custom chipset emulation. Internally almost everything in main chipset emulation has been rewritten. Fastest possible/JIT mode chipset timing/sync had major changes which can cause side-effects. Bugs are very possible, especially in very rarely used features."

A brand new 68k Mac emulator quietly dropped last night!!

“Snow” can emulate the Mac 128k, 512k, Plus, SE, Classic, and II. It supports reading disks from bitstream and flux-floppy images, and offers full execution control and debugging features for the emulated CPU. Written using Rust, it doesn't do any ROM patching or system call interception, instead aiming for accurate hardware-level emulation.
