Nyla Smokeyface :heart_ace:<p>I relapsed... I got back into <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/RSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RSS</span></a> and spent several hours over my break going through unread feeds, unstarring articles in <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Feedbin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Feedbin</span></a>, and decluttering my feeds by unsubscribing to some I don't read</p><p>I can't help but feel like I wasted time doing that but I also feel like digitally decluttering is productive. After all, I apparently have 100,000 starred articles in <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Feedbin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Feedbin</span></a> :blobcatsweat: I think a lot of that was filters that cast too wide of a net that built up especially after I took a long break from RSS. </p><p>It also probably came from starring things that could easily have simply been bookmarked instead. I found out yesterday that I could unstar articles through the API. Maybe I can write a program to help mass unstar articles since neither Feedbin nor <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Reeder" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Reeder</span></a> (classic) have multi select.</p><p>This was more of a ramble but if anyone has tips on helping me wrangle my RSS feeds and saved/read-later articles I would love to hear them!</p><p><a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/DigitalDecluttering" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DigitalDecluttering</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Productivity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Productivity</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/ReadLater" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ReadLater</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/ADHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ADHD</span></a></p>
