I LOVE how the style is very strongly inspired by the original #manga by #MasamuneShirow - I love the 1995 movie, but what REALLY got me into the fandom was the manga, so I'm actually very excited about this!

Ich LIEBE, wie sich der Style sehr eng an dem Original-Manga von Masamune Shirow orientiert - ich liebe den 1995-Film, aber so wirklich, WIRKLICH ins Fandom eingestiegen bin ich mit dem Manga, also bin ich tatsächlich sehr gespannt darauf!

Wow, I didnt see this coming. A fully animated #film, going to American #cinema, by #GitS SAC animator Kenji Kamiyama. Set in the New Line Middle Earth. And this looks real good.
I do hope this has little to nothing to do with the ring. I'm tired of that thing. I want to hear only about these kingdoms.

I've finally watched the French animated movie #MarsExpress. I liked it a lot. Its visual style is different from US animation and anime. Very "static", like an animated graphic novel and since they have "telepathic" video calls in the future, characters often don't move their mouths. But the style is a very coherent mix of 2D and 3D and you get used to it.
Its world has lots of interesting sci-fi tech gadgets (cyborg doubles, inflatable robots, body mods) so of course it feels like #GITS

I really recommend this one. A good story about robotics, actual AI, transhumanism, a noir story, that also has fantastic colors and humor. Stellar #animation.
