Mit einem kleinen Team bewegen wir heute die komplette Glossar-Weiterentwicklung vom physischen in den digitalen Raum, entwickeln die Kriterien für Review und Lektorat zuende, setzen die fachübergreifende Prüfung von Begriffen fort, und werden natürlich immer noch ein paar fehlende Begriffe ergänzen. Es wird bald einen 1.0-Release geben, aber "fertig" ist so ein Werk natürlich nie.

Clothing has its own vocabulary, which often makes reading and translating old texts challenging for the uninitiated.
The glossary below is extracted from a longer list on the Refashioning the Renaissance project website.
References to "Florio" are to John (or Giovanni) Florio, Queen Anne's New World of Words or Dictionarie of the Italian and English tongues, 1611.

37/n One idea (another addition to this #COP28 #glossary of sorts) discussed for the last couple of years in this context is that #Africa might #LeapFrog in its #EnergyTransition - ie, that it doesn't have to go through the #FossilFuel stage but can skip it and go straight to clean energy and renewables. One useful summary of this is provided here by Wartsila (a renewable energy company) but there are many critics. Obviously some real #ClimateJustice issues here.
