jablkoziemne<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@governa" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>governa</span></a></span> kool, I hope it will also be distributed as <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/flatpak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>flatpak</span></a> <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/package" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>package</span></a>. It would have the same limitations as flatpak version of <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/gnomeboxes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gnomeboxes</span></a> but for the most basic usage of spinning up <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/virtualmachine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>virtualmachine</span></a> without any special network interfaces or other stuff that requires privilaged user intervention.</p>
jablkoziemne<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@ProfessorCode" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>ProfessorCode</span></a></span> I believe more people are using <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/kvm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kvm</span></a> based <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/virtualization" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>virtualization</span></a> instead of <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/virtualbox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>virtualbox</span></a>. So there should be more, and better guides for installing <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/virtmanager" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>virtmanager</span></a>, <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/gnomeboxes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gnomeboxes</span></a> or using <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/Virsh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Virsh</span></a>. But also why these guides are unnecessary verbose I suspect its because of <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/seo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>seo</span></a> so the webpages get ranked higher in <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/google" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>google</span></a> index, and have more views which should corespond to increased <a href="https://101010.pl/tags/ad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ad</span></a> revenue.</p>

This is so cool 🤯<br>Makes it quite convenient to use <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/virtualization" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>virtualization</span></a> on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> for the one or two times per year where you might need to test something on Windows with some esoteric file.</p>
Eoin O'Neill<p>It's a tiny bit annoying to share files between a linux host to a windows guest. </p><p>Right now, I have a firewall-protected samba server that can only be connected to from my VM to share files but I don't love this. When I tried webdav sharing via spice, though, the performance was too slow and a bit annoying to work around.</p><p>I'm almost tempted to just use syncthing and forget about the file redundancy.
