I created a line chart from the data of polls tracked by 338Canada.com. I wanted to see it myself.

Nothing revelatory here but I really wanted to watch that CPC and NDP trend. This makes it easier than looking at the table.

Looks like the CPC is stuck in the 35-40% band. The LPC has reached its peak around 45% and the NDP and Bloc found their bottoms at 6% and 4% respectively.

Will the #TrumpTariffs produce a shift?

A chat shows red, blue, orange, light blue, green, and purple lines. They are quite ‘noisy’ but do show general trends with red and blue toward the top above 35% and the others below 15%.

If the message (that polls report #Candian s want the #UCP / #CPC) is repeated loudly enough to an audience not informed that it is a marketing message, yes. At least, for a period of time.

This is why #PP pushing so hard to have the election immediately.

Because eventually the electorate realizes it has been hoodwinked, and a backlash ensues.

Which is why #Trudeau is working so hard to delay the election.

And then are parties, #GPC, #NDP, pushing #ProportionalRepresentation.

For 10+ years, Google has allowed #Android users to limit data sharing for online ads. We find that this setting does... NOTHING much. The same goes for Californians, when they exert their LEGAL right to limit sale or sharing of their data. #GPC

Greens call on the Government of Canada to clearly and unequivocally reaffirm not only its respect but its unwavering support for international law, the ICC, the International Court of Justice and the independence of their institutions.

(P.S. “Isn’t GPC just the same as Do Not Track?” It’s a similar motivation and mechanism, but quite importantly different. We aren’t looking to standardize how sites will comply with user requests – I had a long painful experience trying to encourage that voluntary adoption, without much success. Instead, states and countries can provide those legal rights, this is just communicating them to a website in an easier way.) #gpc #dnt
