HyperSchool is a HyperCard application for schools to do scheduling, attendance, and grades.

It includes thousands of lines of #HyperTalk code, plus some
C code to interface to a scantron machine and to do simulated annealing
before the user gets old.

Apparently it's Faculty Appreciation week. Idk if my students made that up but
they gave me a card with heartwarming notes and also a cake! (That we all ate)

My child has not been in school for 2 months suffering with #mentalHealth problems. Yesterday I went to a #parents evening and talked with most of his #teachers. Every one of them offered something: special classes, sending work home, suggested timetable changes, #school swaps, video calls... And they all expressed their sadness that my child wasn't able to be in class.

Teachers have a HARD job, so to offer all this was amazing, I was moved to tears by the care and humanity they showed. THANK YOU!

I'm already an emotional wreck. I try to keep thinking positive, to keep focus on the good times that we may still be able to share...
But that little voice in the back of my head keeps telling me that "this may be the last time that...". And I *know* I should not go there... But I'm just so scared of losing her...

And now, slowly, some support is coming in. and every notification brings me to tears... partially sad tears because I know the time is running out... Also, partially happy tears , because people care for me and Arwen. People think we're important enough to get this support... However sad the reasons may be...

I can never thank you with my words. I feel they will always be insufficient... If that makes sense...

But we're at €290/€400 now, and it means that I, hopefully, will be able to bring her back home, after her soul has crossed the bridge...

As I mentioned in the update on GoFundMe, it would be amazing is we could raise enough to also make a start for the costs for the ash-pendant. But... Getting her the private cremation and urn, and taking her home, those will be most pressing, once she's passed... When I've got the ashes, I can save for the ash-pendant to wear her close to my heart forever....

Thanks ever so much for all your support! Arwen and I really appreciate all you do for us...
