Nationwide protests took place in the USA today, April 19, 2025. These pictures were taken in Galloway, New Jersey. A few hundred people showed up to express their outrage and disapproval of the Trump regime.

Encouraging note: this protest was bigger than the last, had more young people, and more young families involved!

Visited friends in Lancaster County, PA last weekend, and while I was frustrated to have been away from the Hands Off rally in NYC, it was heartening to see Lancaster residents take to the streets as well. I try to avoid showing protesters’ faces but wanted to share this shot — at a memorial for those who fought in the Civil War, which seems appropriate for these divisive times.

Let this be the beginning of your involvement in the social movement to make our country a better one. Don't sit by when there is so much to be done. You don't need to do it all- just supporting one initiative is all it takes and our collective efforts will make a difference.

It doesn't look like much in this photo, but they stopped counting the protestors at 3,000 people (out of a population of 30,173 people in 2023).

This was in the very small town of #Algonquin #Illinois , about 48 miles northwest of #Chicago . Some of these people are probably also from neighboring #LakeInTheHills , which has a population of 28,661.

Both communities tend to have considerably more Republican voters than Democrats.

Even in the smallest of small-town America, protests were going strong.

Let's keep it up!
