Sim BarrNoah's ArkMarie-Madeleine Fourcade was the leader of the French Resistance network "Alliance", a position she inherited after the capture of 'Navarre' who had recruited her. To the Germans the Alliance was known as Noah's Ark because it's members were all given code names of animals. Fourcade was known as Hérisson ("Hedgehog"). Their goal was to gather information about German troops in France, + transmit this intelligence to Britain. They also aided downed British airman to return home.Many of Fourcade's agents were captured - including her second-in-command, Léon Faye, with whom she had a child during the war. Fourcade herself was captured twice, escaping both times. Tales from the Two LandsThese little hedgehog shaped pots are around 2,500 years old, dating to the Late Period of Egyptian history. KimberleyTaking a break from all of the procrastination I was doing to build hedgehog feeding station v.3, cat mission:hopefully impossible. We have a shallow water tray at the entrance, then a brick tunnel with a 90 degree bend in it, then an obstacle course inside. All with a slightly smaller than the original entrance gap of around 10 cm which is what the hedgehog street website recommends. I said that that's odd as all the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/hedgehog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#hedgehog</a> food I left out was still disappearing. Hmm, maybe rodents, a fox, or even a deer was taking it. :neuro: Pixy's Journey :v_bi:Hedgehog 🦔 crossingNot the best shot, but Arwen and I kept our distance when the hog was on the path. When it went to one side, I took Arwen to the other side and we slowly passed it.I would have loved a better snap, but with Arwen and the poor lightning, I would have needed to come too close to the hog, or I should have needed my light.
