Ein creme-weißer Pelikan - aufgenommen im seitlichen Profil - sitzt vor einer Wand, die nur minimal dunkler ist als das Gefieder des Seevogels. Der Kopf, im Foto rechts oben in der Ecke, ist nach unten gesenkt und in Blickrichtung auf das hintere Gefieder gerichtet. Der lange, leicht orange-rote Schnabel teilt damit das Bild in der Diagonalen von rechts oben nach links unten. Mit dem Schnabel säubert und richtet er das Gefieder des rechten Flügels. Weitere Teile des Körpers oder Füße sind nicht zu sehen, lediglich Kopf, Hals und ein Teil des Rumpfes sind im Foto abgebildet.

'Highkey' (etwas "geschummelt", die Figur hängt eigentlich an Drähten in der Luft)

Figur aus feinem Draht, die vermutlich Jesus darstellt. Sie "fliegt" in der Luft. Da sie stark überbelichtet ist, wirkt sie noch sphärischer und etwas unwirklich.

In Lightroom mal ein "Bastelversuch" gemacht, kommt in der Nähe es fehlt vielleicht noch ein wenig "Weichheit"

Das Bild zeigt eine Nahaufnahme eines Löwenzahnsamenkopfes, der als "Uhr" bekannt ist, in einem monochromen, kontrastreichen Schwarz-Weiß-Stil. Der Samenkopf, der hier von einem Künstler in Metall konstruiert wurde, ist überwiegend weiß, mit zarten, dünnen Fäden, die von der Mitte, in der die Samen gebündelt sind, nach außen strahlen. Die Samen sind klein und rund, mit einer leichten Verdunkelung an der Basis, die im Kontrast zu den umgebenden weißen Fäden steht. Der Hintergrund ist ein sanftes, helles Grau und bietet einen neutralen Hintergrund, der die komplizierten Details des Samenkopfes hervorhebt. Die Gesamtkomposition ist zentriert, wobei der Samenkopf den größten Teil des Bildes einnimmt, wodurch ein Gefühl von Tiefe und Konzentration auf das Motiv entsteht.

12 years ago: Photographers on the beach

Eine Gruppe von Menschen am Strand, sie fotografieren etwas am linken Bildrand oder sie schauen auf Kameramonitore oder sie sprechen miteinander. Alle Menschen sind unscharf fotografiert und sind nur noch schemenhaft zu erkennen. Viele tragen schwarz-graue Kleidung, nur ein paar Farbkleckse sind im Bild zu erkennen. Weder Strand noch Wasser sind zu erkennen, nur eine Reihe von Holzbuhnen zeigt, dass die Menschen am Strand stehen.

A group of people on the beach, they are photographing something on the left edge of the picture or looking at camera monitors or talking to each other. All the people are blurred and can only be vaguely recognised. Many are wearing black and grey clothing, only a few splashes of colour can be seen in the picture. Neither the beach nor the water can be recognised, only a row of wooden groynes shows that the people are standing on the beach.
