You hear warnings about policy from the NDP and you hope Poiliever will help Carney ignore the warning?
You like Carney saying PharnaCare is intrinsic to Canada, but forget Singh had to FORCE it on Trudeau with vote threats?
It was a majority, of the long long historic dance of rhe Liberals/NDP.
All of Canada's best governments are Liberal NDP and have been since Canada got a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the US and Britain invading Egypt to get the Suez Canal.
The same "majority" that gave Canada Universal HealthCare.
Its a proud majority. And will be for decades. Work for it, it works for us.
Canada needs to deepen, strengthen, expand world ties, importantly with Europe.
One strong way to be "more European" is to strengthen democracy and voting with Proportional Representation.
European nations are over 90% Proportional Representation. Canadians love it. Parliament supports it, Parliamentary Committee cleared it.
Prime Minister Carney, protecting Canada runs through Proportional Representation. Protecting the Canadian Economy runs through the EU.
What strong argument for proportional representation. I hope Liberal leadership stops being smug and arrogant, hoping for majorities from 35 and 40% of the vote.
Proportional voting would produce progressive majorities every vote. But you'd have to negotiate with the greens and NDP.
And it wouldnt hurt the liberal.party. its percentage of the vote would rise and fall but progressives stay in power, racists excluded.
Proportional representation is best. Not merger.
It would be a democratic gift, a boon to democracy, a bulwark against tyranny should Prime Minister Carney introduce the Parliamentary law already written and approved in consultation and Parliamentary Committee as an election victory step forward.

Also let’s be honest what crowd size is really about….
The CBC did a headcount of Liberal and Conservative rallies and found (SURPRISE) both were grossly overestimating the # of people actually there.
Both gave numbers that were, objectively, “not possible”. 
The #CPC mocked “crowd scientists” (because of course they did.) 15,000? More like 1700. 
And the #LPC told on themselves when they said they “maxed out” spaces. The max capacity was less than how many they claimed attended.

I created a line chart from the data of polls tracked by 338Canada.com. I wanted to see it myself.
Nothing revelatory here but I really wanted to watch that CPC and NDP trend. This makes it easier than looking at the table.
Looks like the CPC is stuck in the 35-40% band. The LPC has reached its peak around 45% and the NDP and Bloc found their bottoms at 6% and 4% respectively.

I hate strategic voting. If climate destroying, wealth transfer policies aren't what you want, why are you endorsing it at the ballot box? Also the amount of people who push strategic voting, but say not voting is an endorsement of the conservatives is insane. Only one of you is endorsing anti climate plutocratic policies and it isn't the non-voter.
The Conservative Party is apparently imploding. Regardless of how you plan to vote, that’s terrible for Canada.
