Un jour, un marchand arrive sur la place du village et distribue des catalogues avec des objets qu'ils ne connaissent pas. Comme ils n'ont pas d'argent, ils proposent d'acquérir ces objets contre des mots. Une fois qu'ils ont vendu leurs mots, ils ne peuvent plus les réutiliser. Ça les coupe à l'information. Ce témoignage de 2008 n'a pas pris une ride. C'est très énervant.<br><br>Après plusieurs années d’expérience, en tant que personne sourde et professeur de langue des signes dans des établissements scolaires pour jeunes sourds, je souhaite partager mes observations concernant l’état actuel de la communauté sourde. En effet la situation d’aujourd’hui est très loin d’être satisfaisante et occasionne de nombreux échanges, que ce soit dans les lieux privés, professionnels ou dans les salons sourds… sans qu’il n’y ait toujours de traces écrites. Passer des signes au papier permet de porter ces « paroles » au-delà des cercles sourds.
