Meeting friends near Nürnberg provided the perfect chance to visit Nürnberg Zoo together, a place beloved by all. Enjoying the seamless beauty of the zoo’s landscape, I found moments to photograph some wildlife while cherishing conversation and connection, reflecting on the balance between capturing memories and living them.

Mongoose! There were many others out of shot, which I deeply feel should be described as mongeese, but I think are mongooses (we had quite a lengthy conversation about this at the time).

I dedicate this special video to Snow White "Snowy" the Meerkat, who passed away on 31st October. As a meerkat enthusiast who spent years dreaming of meeting her in-person before finally being able to last year, the news of her death was heartbreaking. I'm forever grateful for the time I managed to spend with her, and to all the zoo staff and volunteers at for ensuring Snowy's life was as long and happy as possible. May she Rest In Peace 
@vmaldosan@defcon.social adding a backend of ExpressJS + MongoDb. The basic API is almost ready, but after many hours of try and error, I couldn't figure out how to include a Map as a property of users. Today I switched from the official NodeJS client to Mongoose and it works!

This is a mongoose, the illegitimate bastard spawn of horny dachshunds and house cats. They are rampant in Hawaii and, along with house cats, the reason so many of the state's native birds have gone extinct. This one was filmed in a shopping mall in Keauhou, near some sacred 'Ulu trees, waiting for me to leave my car so it could break in and steal my Loco Moco. They are very shady creatures!

#Mongoose currently has the rights for the most revised and modern edition (https://www.mongoosepublishing.com/products/traveller-core-rulebook-update-2022 ) but if you’re truly a grognard, the original designer has a magnum opus reflecting his vision for the system’s evolution. (If you didn’t start with the LBBs in the 70s, I’d recommend the Mongoose edition, but if you want to see the LBBs turn into VBBBs, check out this monster: https://www.amazon.com/Traveller-5-Core-Rules-Slipcase/dp/1558784004 )
(The two systems evolved from the same core, but they’ve diverged considerably and are two different games with some shared terminology and concepts. They have the same base stats and numeric range, but different task resolutions, among other things.)
