dodothedev🦤💻<p>In anticipation of my apprenticeship/course in software development, I'm looking at note taking apps again. Used Obsidian heavily, but I think it's become too bloated. I liked and wanted to use Emacs, but it's so complicated, it's too much work (to have it sync etc). NotesNook looks good, but when I import my notes, none of the images show. Self-Hosted Corner (Day 29): Today, on my lunch, literally in the last 13 minutes, while eating, I exported my notes from Standard Notes, into Notesnook. I got it set up on my phone and laptop (running Fedora), I have the theme I want, the system preferences, and an account secured by 2FA. It's looking great and was simple. So far, I'm a fan. #notesnook just decided to "improve" tab handling.

its now completely broken on Desktop (Firefox). Tabs dont work anymore, ie. if you create a new note, it doesnt open in a new tab, instead it REPLACES the existing one. you have to EXPLICITELY open a new tab.

hooray. so basically no basic UI document handling, like ANY OTHER notetaking, no, ANY BLOODY EDITOR and just about ANY tabbed interface?!?

Lemme guess: Tested only in Chrome on Android?
