I have several telescopes but my favourite one is my Meade 2080 LX3 from 1985. I have de-forked it and put it on an EQ5 mount and I do my best to take that telescope everywhere with me. The more time and effort we invest in getting to know a person, a pet, a place, or a creature in the wild, the greater the depths of our empathy for that particular entity. As soon as we start being inquisitive , actively seeking to see something/someone better and know more about it/them, the threads of empathetic connectivity begin to form.
