LanaI joined a local Urban Sketchers group yesterday and after living so long in a place where there was none, it was so nice and refreshing to meet likeminded creative people.Can't wait for the next meetup...Also as you can see I chose some very nice urban architecture as a subject with lots of colorful trash cans. It was a blast! Ulrich Suberggoing out to paint this tree. It’s been a struggle, since the weather is very capricious right now, switching from overcast to sunlit in mere seconds. Despite the challenge, I am pleased with aspects of this. A mother came along with her kids and told me that I was very talented and I should do something with that. Oh well, I’m not really flooded with cash right now so I made a pleinair painting. The outside doesn’t ask for model money :D. Jeremy OsbornWatercolor wave studies (plein air) 1/24/2025Painting waves in watercolor is tricky business, unless you resort to gouache, you need to plan how to preserve the white of the paper for the foam of the breaking waves.
