Trimming the gaiwan bowls, and realized the lids would be easier off the hump - which I've never done before, but it went great! Pic shows the last one, on a depleted hump.

Lids shown with the first of a (hopefully) matching set of tea cups. Maybe need saucers too? hmmm

I made a set of 3 mugs with a carved lotus design, then decided I should change the glazing approach - but they were already loaded in the community kiln. So they were fired as originally planned, and they are “home” mugs, while I’m making a couple more which will hopefully turn out better. Anyway, these are growing on me, as they turned out to be just right for a cup of tea. #Pottery #Handmade

Another moon vase today Then a friend gave me this broken gaiwan, and asked if I can replace it. I guess we'll find out!

Several slight variations to choose from, but ran out of time for lids and saucers. That's what weekends are for.
