Ludo Waltman<a href="https://social.cwts.nl/@cwts" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@cwts</a> colleague Wolfgang Kaltenbrunner just published paper about peer review in psychology <a href="https://doi.org/10.31235/osf.io/wfs9v" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://doi.org/10.31235/osf.io/wfs9v</a>.The paper presents fascinating analysis of peer review practices in terms of tension between gift-giving and accumulation. Actually if you don't have any preprints you might look not very dynamic at this stage. Marc Robinson-RechaviI have been asked what solutions exist for preprinting in <a href="https://ecoevo.social/tags/French" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#French</a> rather than in English. I know HAL (<a href="https://doc.archives-ouvertes.fr/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://doc.archives-ouvertes.fr/</a>) but it isn't clear whether researchers based outside 🇫🇷 (e.g. from 🇨🇭) can use it. Does anyone know what solutions exist for non-English <a href="https://ecoevo.social/tags/preprinting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#preprinting</a>? <a href="https://ecoevo.social/tags/preprint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#preprint</a>
