Tras más de una década y una pandemia, no se ha acondicionado su tercera planta para habilitar un mayor número de camas. No hay plazas de parking gratuito y el entorno del hospital es un erial, sin zonas de descanso y sombras.● Villa de Vallecas es uno de los distritos en los que los fondos buitres compraron de forma ilegal vivienda social del IVIMA. El gobierno del PP abandonó a su suerte a sus inquilinos, que tuvieron que luchar por sus derechos en los tribunales. Muchas de esas viviendas han terminado con casos de problemas de convivencia y degradación provocada por ocupaciones mafiosas, como los inmuebles del Embalse de El Vellón.● Las familias de los residentes del Centro de Mayores y el Centro de Alzheimer Fundación Reina Sofía se quejan de graves problemas en la alimentación, las condiciones y cuidados de las personas mayores. Cerca de 200 empleados de la residencia reclaman a la empresa que gestiona el centro y la Comunidad de Madrid como responsable subsidiaria, que se abonen las pagas extras de Navidad, la subida del convenio (6,5% recogida desde principios de año en el convenio colectivo) y los atrasos correspondientes. El Centro de Mayores actualmente está sin cafetería, ni servicio de comidas.● Una escuela infantil pública del Ensanche de Vallecas lleva tres semanas sin calefacción. Las familias han tenido que movilizarse por algo tan básico para que se tomen medidas y se solucione este problema.● El Ayuntamiento de Madrid y la Junta Municipal de Villa de Vallecas están vetando y postergando cualquier de las medidas contra el incremento de residuos y las emisiones contaminantes de la Incineradora de Valdemingómez.
