Ce matin, à la fraîche, j'ai fait un tour dans le Cap Sizun pour notamment photographier le phare du Raoulic qui a retrouvé son nez installé l'année dernière par Clet Abraham. L'artiste a aussi profité de son passage cet été pour renouveler quelques détournements de panneaux routiers dans le secteur… Celui-ci était juste à côté d'un champ de lin, maintenant arraché et séchant au soleil et au vent en andains.... comme des vagues.... photos de tout ça et l'expo du marquisat à Pont-Croix, à venir

Photographie en format carré d'un panneau de "cédez le passage", soit un triangle blanc, bordé d'une bande rouge, avec une pointe vers le bas, et en dessous, la mention écrite « cédez le passage », le tout devant la végétation d'un talus. Un street-artiste a collé sur le côté supérieur du triangle blanc, une tête d'oiseau tenant un rameau d'olivier dans son bec de manière à ce qu'on puisse y voir une colombe blanche, les ailes grandes ouvertes portant un rameau d'olivier.

🧵 2/ My inspirations for this project came from an ancient "magical" ocre quarry in our naturepark, exploited until medieval times, where you can still find some stones. An artist teached me how to produce your own pigments.

During that work I found more inspirations by artists working at the intersection of #geology and art, about our body relations to earth and soil. Often with a sense of reciprocity and respect while collecting.

Jewellery made with cardboard painted with natural ocre. Three small beads and a big pendant on a black string show different shades of brown ocre. The beautiful dark reddish brown of the pendant is mixed with genuine copper powder. Thanks to the bad grinding, the cardboard has a texture like stone.
