Another set of arrests show cops dog piling on two different people after throwing them violently to the ground.

As is typical Seattle City Council is working one some bullshit to destroy our ethics code 
A large crowd of Kshama Sawant supporters are currently in attendance at this afternoon's council meeting. Many of whom worked to pass some of the housing reforms this major ethics code change will likely also make it legal to destroy.

In late April, Pike Place Market started a partial car-free pilot program on the streets outside the iconic Seattle landmark, something many locals have been advocating for years. The temporary street closure still allows vendors, those with handicap placards, and curbside pickups, to drive along Pike Place. The vendors I spoke with, including Troy Terry (image 5), who makes a daily delivery stop at the market for Ocean Beauty Seafoods, like the change, but have complained that they have to approach Pike Street from the north under the new program rather than turning left from 1st Avenue to enter the market. "So far it's easier," he said of the program, "There's a place to park [a large delivery truck]." Since the start of the program, the market has installed more picnic tables and seating on the street, and pedestrians seem to be taking the cue. For CascadePBS.

The cops are closing the streets surrounding city hall for the 5pm christian nationalist protest of the mayor.
A number of reporters are on the scene already and its nothing but cops dragging flimsy fencing.
None of the fash are even here yet and these pigs are already getting overtime.

It's a never ending gaslight fest.
The fash say that because their event closed early its a sign of religious persecution at the hands of Mayor Harrell.
Bruce on the other hand bulldozed a protest garden (#BLMG) precisely to enable events. The largest of which has been the fascist MaydayUSA tour (now planning an encoure).
Bruce asked them to wrap up a smidgen early and now both wants to claim that as a victory.

So now the fascists say they will protesting Bruce Harrell tonight.
It's generally not advised that anyone attend or counter protest them... bc fuck Bruce Harrell, good luck with your new found bed fellow Bruce.
It's pretty clear MaydayUSA isn't likely to draw much of a crowd tonight and are just trying to provoke another cop riot.

The same fascists who brought their church of hate to Cal Anderson over the weekend are expected to have a small protest / press conference on the steps of city hall tonight to rail against Seattle's Bruce Harrell for not beating the gayborhood enough on saturday.
They also already have secured a permit for an upcoming repeat event at the exact same park in later this year in August.

There happened to be a City Council Safety Committee meeting this morning which got a lot of comments from citizens about last weekend's cop riot.
My personal favorite bootlicking council member even got a shout out from Seattle Gay News for trying to claim "bad actors" provoked police.

While I was at court watch yesterday I spoke to people who were witnesses to the arrest of this man below.
His only crime was walking through Cal Anderson on his way to a hair cut. Multiple people at court watch witnessed him get randomly tackled so hard he had to eventually be taken to the hospital.
This type of "wrong place, wrong time" police beat down is EXACTLY what made 2020 protests grow.
