This one is probably the #antivirus myth I see the most frequently. Basically it reads like because #AV are silly and depend on old fixed #signatures, new malware are not detected.

Honestly, do you think the AV world is that stupid?!
Fixed signatures are used for quick patches to respond to an urgent threat. They are replaced by "smart signatures" which are able to jump to useful registers, find binary patterns etc.

This AV bashing propaganda has to stop one day .
