This is a big day for Orion's End. I can finally announce that I received funding from Screen Australia to dedicate more of my time to developing the game. It is really exciting.

🕶️ A screenshot of the game showing mainly a planet (the screenshot on the site is entitled “A Rocky Planet”) and below it what appears to be a spaceship or stargate in profile view. 📚️ Space Nerds In Space (SNIS) is a libre, multi-platform (Linux / Mac), multiplayer (on Lan, in coop vs NPC starships, or in PVP, against other player bridges) starship bridge simulator game (as in Star Trek). One of the PCs executes the central server of the game universe, and the PCs of the players each act as a station of the same starship bridge. There are stations for navigation, weapons, engineering, communications, damage control and the main view (in full screen 3D). A game master can also inject and control NPC ships, and scenarios can be built.

one of the most immersive things in SpaceBourne2 is Sonak radio, an interplanetary music and chat broadcast. but the volume controls aren't with the other sound settings, so here's a quick guide. adjust the volume by pressing U to bring up the main interface. to mute it, press H to activate the cursor then click the rightmost icon in the upper left toolbar. #SpaceBourne2 #VideoGames #DBKGames #IndieGames #SpaceSim #Gaming #Games #SpaceGames #GameplayTips #UnrealEngine
