I am not that religious, but militant #atheism is the most annoying thing on Earth.

You'll say you believe something, and they'll immediately start trying to apply #science logic to #spirituality to try to disprove you.

They fail to see that they are two completely separate ideas, and trying to use science to disprove #religion is just as foolish as saying science is heretical and refuting it for religion.

They aren't mutually exclusive, and you can embrace both.

It feels like you're drowning without a lifeline to hold on to, my coach said last year. A little hesitantly she suggested I might want to explore the mother figure of my own cultural background, rather than straying too far, being overly rational, chanting buddhist mantras and whatnot. Soon I bought a rosary at the fleamarket and started to wear it as a talisman, something to hold on to when the waves get rough again. Healing rests in the unlikely sometimes.
