Anomnomnomaly BSC SSC
I used to have a stereo like this, although it was an Amstrad rather than a Sony.

My brother gave it to me when I first moved out of my folks house at the age of 18 as he'd bought one of those new fancy Pioneer ones with multiCD

It lasted me a few years before being replaced with a similar one in a black cabinet and twin tape decks, from another friend for about £30 and then I replaced that a couple of years later for a modern stereo tower with a CD player... that was stolen in a burglary a few years later... and then replaced with a really fancy separates system that I regret selling in the mid 2000's.

Even more than 30yrs later... I can still hear the sound of the magnets clicking together as you open/close the door... a kind of kerchunkoing sound.

#Stereos
#StereoCabinet
#Kerchunkoing
