Tomato progress. So far nice stocky tomatoes since I've been able to keep it cool. The round pots are a mix of my experimental soil that killed all but one of the peppers.. 🤣 and some more recycled soil. The saved Campari seed ones are doing good and might be far enough along to pick a winner. Might pull a few and transplant if I get to it soon. The tomatillo is doing good too.

A photo of 20 tomato plants and 7 tomatillo plants in two plant trays. One tray is 18 square pots, the other has 9 round pots. The tomatoes are 4-5 inches tall or 10cm ++. ;) There are Chadwick Cherry, Amish Paste, Orange Flamme, Principe Borghese, and San Marzano plus the Rio Grande Tomatillo. These are all from saved seeds.

Harvest for September 8, 2024.

3 Zucchini, 2 Muncher cucumbers, 2 little melons, and 3 Tangerine, 2 Amish Paste, 1 San Marzano, 9 Flamme tomatoes, and 1 tomatillo.

The smallest melon was good, the other was a bit over ripe and not good. These are the last of the small melons.

Fruits and vegetables displayed for record keeping. There are red and orange tomatoes, light green zucchini, some small netted skin melons, 2 green cucumbers, and one tomatillo in the husk.

Peppers potted up, up-potted, day 48 after planting seeds. A little root bound but nothing unusual. They don't look that great, too damp for as cool as they've been but it's better than drying out and wilting.

Tomatillos and 10 of the tomatoes done too. Still more to pot up and two new gallon size roses taking up some space now till it's warmer out.

Up potted plants in the grow tent. 36 plants were moved up from 2-inch size pots to 3.5-inch size square pots. 18 pots fit in one 10-20 tray. The plants have laser printed labels on plastic tags, except the Red Marconi, which are the only un-tagged pepper so they are easy to identify. There are two gallon sized pots behind the peppers and tomatoes that have roses in them. Grapes on the left and right, currant, rose, forsythia cuttings in the very back. There are Grande Rio Verde Tomatillo, Flamme Tomato, Principe Borghese Tomato, Red Marconi Pepper, TAM Jalapeno Pepper, California Wonder 300 Pepper,
