I'm currently daily wearing a pair of #xero shoes HFS that have a perfect fit, but don't have enough cushioning for daily hard floor use and road #running

I might be able to get away with a good insole. I had a pair of heavy duty work gel insoles but they weren't for a wide toe box and felt weird.

What high impact insoles or shoes with a Xero Shoes HFS fit and Altra Escalante cushioning do you recommend?

Spot the over-confident #trailrunner … I appear to have entered the Northern Traverse 2024, a 190 mile/300km #ultramarathon following Wainwrights coast to coast path across northern England. Five days to complete it. I am equally excited and freaking out at the scale of the challenge. It’s just 5 long jogs right?
