This Is My GlasgowWay too many of the potholes in Glasgow's streets originate from substandard reinstatement of the road surface after they've been dug up by utility companies. This should be such an easy thing to prevent, and would potentially save Glasgow City Council a lot of money as they're the ones who end up having to deal with them. This Is My GlasgowThis hole, about a foot and a half in length and at least a foot deep, has opened up in a street near me in the last couple of days. The cause looks to be a utilities access cover which been removed and then the void created by this has been left unfilled before being covered over with tarmac (you can see two of the edges of the patch in the top photo).
