dieser kleine* kerl stapfte eben über meine tastatur :3

leider kein gutes bild geworden, weil dem vergrößerungs-handy-anklemmer genau da der akku ausging. mit licht allein seitlich unter dem rand eindringend wurde es sehr dunkel, nachträgliches stark aufhellen übertreibt die farben. der ist weniger grün als es hier aussieht.

quadratisches makro-foto eines winzigen grünlich-dunkelgrauen rüsselkäfers. sein apfelkernförmiger hinterleib ist komplett von den längsgerillten flügeldecken umgeben. davor sitzt wie eine tülle der zylindrische, ganz leicht konische halsschild. daraus tritt der schmale kopf hervor, der dann in den rüssel übergeht. makrofoto-typisch ist der schärfebereich sehr flach, der rüssel liegt schon merklich dahinter, noch viel mehr die durch die nachträgliche bildaufhellung etwas übertrieben gelb-orangen beinchen. weißer hintergrund.

Stepped out for a short walk in the late afternoon heat yesterday. Over at a nearby park, I was about to sit down on one of these little stools when I noticed it was covered in a veritable party of weevils (and one ant).
