Thursday #Workout:
210 seconds of plank.
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
20 minutes of strength training.
10.1 KM of #Running (5°C, 72% humidity, and 13 km/hr wind).
Strength was weirdly hard. Run was pretty good - lots on my mind as I ground out the KMs. Everything generally working.
Been working my way through the Making of Modern Ukraine course by Timothy Snyder (Yale video courses). Six lectures in and we've just past the year 1200.

Day 1 of 35 minutes on the bike. I made it through 4 days of 30 minutes last week. I decided not to post my results everyday because they're essentially the same all week. Today was hard not because I couldn't do it. I did it just fine. I just didn't want to workout today. I had zero motivation so I put on music and just pushed my way through it. I'm proud of myself!

Monday #Workout:

23.2 KM of #Running (2°C, 53% humidity, and 17 km/hr wind).
Good workouts, and snuck in a half marathon today - did the Rideau Falls along the Rideau River Eastern Pathway to Hog's Back Falls and then back along the Rideau Canal Eastern Pathway route - one I haven't done in a lone time.
Great to get out and stretch the legs.
Solo #run around Skyline Lakes, which means Lots of Hills (incl. the final 0.5mi., which is ALL HILL). Didn't quit, and only briefly entertained the thought of walking for 30 sec.)
I ran 9.44 km in one hour this morning. After a month without running, this was not good, but not bad.

This made my day! An amazing senior tried the Malden Fitness Court for the first time today and even tackled the challenge! It’s moments like these that remind me why making fitness accessible is so important.

Shorter run today as I got out a bit later than anticipated and have a busy day ahead. Felt pretty zippy for me. Now to go get my bike out to head off to my first appointment; blood donation!
