One of the best alternative albums ever made. At the time of its release, the Pixies were unknown in the USA but had somewhat of a following in Europe. And this album was a taste of the 90s before the 90s happened. One listen to Debaser, and you’ll know what I mean. The instrumentation is unmistakable. The twin vocals of Frank Black and Kim Deal are iconic. Who doesn’t love Doolittle?

@atomicpoet I had the chance to see the #Pixies on stage in a festival in Belgium at that moment. This was epic, such a great energy. #Placebo did a great cover of the song Where is my mind btw.
