On this sunny winters’ day, #Australian writers from the #AWG joined with writers and other workers around the world for #ScreenwritersEverywhere a ‘global day of solidarity and action’ in support of the 11,500 members of Writers Guild of America West and Writers Guild of America East - WGAE, who have been on strike since 2 May.

The Australian Writers’ Guild (AWG) will join television and film writers and other workers around the world for ‘Screenwriters Everywhere’, a Global Day of Solidarity and action in support of the 11,500 members of Writers Guild of America West and Writers Guild of America East, who’ve been on strike since 2 May.
Where: Comcast/NBC Universal Office building at 580 George St, Sydney.
When: Wednesday, 14 June, 12.30pm to 1.30pm, with placards in support of writers.
