#Paypal hat gestern, in Kooperation mit #Mastercard, bekannt gegeben, dass in Kürze in Deutschen Geschäften mit der Paypal-App bezahlt werden kann – so wie mit #ApplePay. Das ist insofern interessant, dass ein weiteres Superschwergewicht aktiv sein wird und sich Marktanteile schnappt, während europäische Alternativen einfach nicht in die Gänge kommen.

If you use #Apple Wallet or #ApplePay, you may want to make sure your billing and shipping addresses are up to date.

If the billing addresses aren't right, you could get payments declined. If the shipping addresses aren't right, you might accidentally make an online purchase, only to have it shipped to somewhere you no longer receive mail…

Unfortunately, the UI is *super messy* and not intuitive. There is not a single place where you can "manage my addresses" with Apple. 🤦‍♂️

Please see this forum thread with the comprehensive list of SEVEN PLACES you have to check and update your addresses if you want everything to be consistent across your devices.

The good news is now my devices no longer show my addresses from 10+ years ago.

AFH : I have NFC problems with an iPhone 13. It is not totally dead as it works with some Apple Pay payments (but not with all terminals) and doesn't work at all with other services (French ID card and Paris public transportation pass reading), so it appears weak more than entirely off. Apple cannot help for now because they do not see any problem. I tried resetting the phone entirely, in vain. If someone ever faced this issue, I'm all ears 👂
