Und wie immer wird das eigentliche Problem nicht behoben. Der Radweg schafft Sicherheit für Radfahrende. Wenn man im Brandfall an die Häuser möchte müssen die Parkplätze weg. Das wäre die Ehrlichkeit in der Diskussion. Nämlich dann wäre die Sicherheit aller gewährleistet. Aber im Auto-Senat will man das halt eben nicht einsehen. So I thought it would be nice if we shared pictures of the bicycles in our lives, and I wanted to propose we use the hashtag #bikesofmastodon to do it.

I don't have a name for her (it's definitely a she in my mind) but you are welcome to suggest one, preferably in Spanish or French as those are my primary languages.
I've had her for a year, she was designed to be a daily commuter but she has become much more than that, we have shared many adventures through the mean streets of Buenos Aires and I now regularly do 80 to 100 km with her on my weekends just for fun.

My lovely bycicle mostly made from old parts. "Vintage", some might say. It is red with white wheels and tires, black fenders and a black back rack, a fake leather seat and matching brown rubber handles.

A really good article for those who really want to nitpick how sustainable bikes actually are versus how sustainable they can be.

While it may seem obvious, I think the key observation is that most people stand to learn is that just buying the bike and using it occasionally doesn't do anything. It must replace the car you were using before.
