Has anyone tested #IntelArc #Battlemage on #Linux yet? I can't find anything about that on Youtube and while I am sure Level1Linux will make a great video soon I am just so fucking curious, especially considering Intels fantastic track record when in comes to Linux drivers!

Honestly, I don't see the point of having a third-party #SteamDeck going for more than $600. Makes no freaking sense.
After that price these compete in the #laptop space, where you can find superior SoC on all sides: #Zen4, #Zen3, #MeteorLake or #LunarLake. These win hands down no contest.

#FluidX3D has been a visualization powerhouse from the beginning, and with update v2.14 it got even better: Now velocity, density and temperature fields can be visualized in field, slice, streamline, and Q-criterion isosurface modes, in real time while the #CFD simulation is running.

Intel's latest software update dramatically improves #AI #ML #PyTorch #TensorFlow performance on #IntelARC GPUs.
I've been reluctant to say anything about it, since it was (initially) so bad.
In summary: my Intel ARC A750 beats my GeForce GTX 1080, and tails behind my NVidia RTX A4000 (3070 TI). That said my test conditions aren't fair for ARC either, as ARC was running on Windows (WSL). If compared fairly, an ARC A770 might beat the A4000.

In update #FluidX3D v2.6 I patched the remaining #OpenCL driver issues on Intel Arc #GPUs. >4GB VRAM allocations now work and VRAM capacity reporting is corrected. FluidX3D is now fully operational on #IntelArc!
