🕶️ Its user interface (v. 4.4, with a dark theme on my Linux PC) with godot-sokoban, a 3D Sokoban game available from its interface. Under Godot, numerous windows and parameters are displayed on both sides of the screen.

📚️ Godot Engine is a high-performance, libre (very permissive MIT license, no hidden fees), multi-platform 2D and 3D game engine and IDE, extremely feature-rich with a vast set of tools, enabling the developer to create his multi-platform game from scratch without requiring any external tools other than the usual content creation tools (graphics and sound; it includes a tile map editor), and to concentrate on his game without having to reinvent the wheel. It also features an intuitive scripting language (GDScript, inspired by Python and other languages) and can be used with most programming languages.

📚️ Quake 2 is the 2nd episode of the series, and an FPS in which the player is Bitterman, a Marine taking part in a counter-offensive of the Earthlings on the planet Stroggos. Most of the soldiers are captured or killed during their approach. Bitterman crashes outside the planned area and is forced to infiltrate the Stroggs' capital alone. Yamagi Quake II is an open source, single/multi (offline co-op), multi-platform port that emphasizes gameplay and graphics fidelity while offering its modernization (OpenGL 3.2, 64-bit, multi-screen support, 7.1 stereo sound, ...). Moreover it offers a good installer that takes care of the automatic loading of the shareware version to get started. A very good tool, easy to use.

This re-release also brings additional content (the expansions "Resurrection of Evil" & "The Lost Mission", the Doom 1&2 games + 2 addons). RBDoom3BFG is a libre, multi-platform and compatible engine (except with Doom 1&2, which can be used with other engines).

📚️ ScummVM is a libre, multi-platform re-implementation of point-and-click engines from the 80's to 2000, allowing to play old flagship titles on recent hardware and on different platforms - reusing their data. It is compatible with the engines SCUMM & GrimE (2D & 3D, LucasArts), AGI & SCI (2D, Sierra On-Line), and a hundred others. Among these titles are Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones, Monkey Island, King's Quest 1-6, Space Quest 1-5, Gobliiins 1-3, The Legend of Kyrandia 1-3, Simon the Sorcerer 1 & 2, but also more recent titles developed specifically for this engine.

It's a neat game that offers in-game help to get started, solo/multiplayer, map editor and game save / load. Very good!

📚️ GZDoom is a libre, multi-platform, single-player / multi-player (up to 8 on LAN) source port of id Software's DOOM engine, derived from the ZDoom project (dead). It is compatible with Ultimate Doom (Doom 1), Doom 2, Heretic, Hexen, and Strife. The vast majority of Doom's boundaries are removed, adding many features such as free view (up / down), high resolutions, transparency, jumps, sloped 3D floors, dynamic lights, ... It is currently one of the best DOOM engines.

📚️ Quake 1 is a FPS (1996) in which the player is the ultimate survivor of a commando sent to a military base where researchers have developed a teleportation prototype that has been corrupted by Quake, a demon who tries to use it to invade the Earth with his hordes of monsters. VkQuake is a libre, multi-platform QuakeSpasm engine running on the Vulkan API, offering much better performance, higher frequencies than 72 Hz without breaking physics, multi-threaded loading, support for 2021 re-release data, underwater effect for dives, dynamic shadows, improved colour accuracy, 8-bit colour emulation, scaling, anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, scriptable particles, custom HUDs, and a menu to make loading mods easier. It is also designed as a port, as faithful to the original as possible, compatible with all mods that run on QuakeSpasm like In The Shadows or Arcane Dimensions.

📚️ Tomb Raider 1 is a 3D objective-view adventure game (published in 1996) starring Lara Croft, a British archaeologist. TR1X is a mature, libre, multi-platform engine, enhancing the gaming experience in many ways. These include the Linux version, a myriad of bug fixes, a new user interface (with a health bar for enemies), better support for windowed mode, porting of various internal libraries to their open-source equivalent, increased engine limits, numerous gameplay enhancements, improved controls (and the ability to modify them), the addition of new stats and cheat modes.
