Fascinating, measles in Idaho, but they aren't counting it because the person who got it is not from Idaho.
During their infectious period, the person spent time at the following locations in Burley, Idaho:
Monday, May 19 – EdgeWater Dining and Spirits at 530 Hampton Dr. between 7 pm and 11 pm
Tuesday, May 20 – Urgent Care of Idaho – Burley Clinic at 382 Overland Ave. between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm. This location shares a waiting room with two other businesses.
Tuesday, May 20 – Intermountain Health Cassia Regional Hospital at 1501 Hiland Ave. between 10 am and 12:30 pm
Some of these times overlap because a measles-exposed area can still have the virus circulating in the air for up to two hours after a person with measles leaves the area.
Those who are susceptible to measles and were exposed could develop symptoms at any time between Saturday, May 24 and Saturday, June 14.
Measles symptoms include fever, runny nose, cough and rash. It can spread for up to four days before and four days after the rash appears.
IMPORTANT NOTE: People experiencing symptoms of measles should contact their healthcare provider and should not go into clinics, pharmacies, or other healthcare settings without calling ahead so the facility can make preparations to reduce any chance of spread.
SCPHD encourages community members to verify their MMR vaccination status for themselves and their family members. Anyone with questions about measles or the MMR vaccine should call their primary care provider or call SCPHD at (208) 737-1138.

Hello all,
Today we come to you with a slightly different measles update than the ones we've been providing. We are currently investigating a developing situation in the Mini-Cassia region. An international traveler with confirmed measles was reported. They were visiting Idaho on a business trip when they started displaying symptoms and self-isolated for the rest of their time in Idaho.
It is important to note at this time that this case is being treated as an incident of measles exposure rather than an official case of measles in Idaho, because no Idaho residents have a reported case of measles at this time.
