A panoramic sunrise. Below, a gently convex suburban ridgeline lies still dark, while immediately above gently concave bank of clouds makes a second silhouette. Above them both is a soft, saffron-rice yellow and orange pre-dawn sky. (The joke refers to the vague visual similarity of the image to a doublet lens with a concave element glued to a convex element to reverse the differential bending of different wavelengths of light, causing chromatic aberration)
