Ophie was known and loved by the bike community as part owner of Winning Wheels Bicycle Shop in Pacific Grove 1986-2024. Beautiful Pacific Grove, California. One of my favorite photos from a visit in April.

Only a handful of beachgoers would actually venture into the water, likely just the children and perhaps a few family pets. Most people would be content to stroll along the shore and simply take in the view of the ocean. This scene at Lover’s Point, Pacific Grove, CA, would serve as a snapshot of a bygone era.
