Prime Minister of #Armenia #Nikol_Pashinyan called #CSTO a threat to #Armenia's existence:

“We have frozen our membership to the #CSTO not only because the #CSTO doesn’t ensure its security obligations towards #Armenia, but also because in our opinion the #CSTO creates threats for #Armenia’s security and #Armenia’s future existence, sovereignty and statehood. And we have frozen our membership to the #CSTO,” #Pashinyan said at the Global #Armenian Summit.

#Armenia will formally withdraw from its military alliance with #Moscow, the country’s prime minister announced Wednesday, as tensions grow with R#ussia.

Nikol #Pashinyan declared in parliament that “we will leave” the #Kremlin’s #CSTO, and that “we will decide the timing of our exit.”

“It turned out that the members of the alliance are not fulfilling their contractual obligations, but are planning a war against us with #Azerbaijan,”
